Robbery
 
To take something from another person dishonestly, behind their back, with violence,
or by threatening with a weapon is considered robbery. Thefts may involve personal items (valuables, cell phones, clothes, bikes) as well as school property.

 
Did you Know?
Youth perpetrators of serious violent crime (ages 12-17): 17 per 1000.

 
What to Tell Children (excerpt)
Immediately alert security or an adult in case of robbery attempt, or in case of threats with or without weapons.
Scream for help, struggle, or run away if the robbery is committed by one or more individuals.
Walk in groups when going to school or returning home to avoid becoming the perfect prey for robbers.
