Dear Carrinna,

Bullying is a real tormenting situation severely punishable by the school and by the justice system. That’s the reason why if someone bullies you, blackmails, threatens, physically restrains, manipulates, orders you around, etc., talk to a teacher, to a trust counsellor and to your parents. Remember, no one has the right to harass you. By reporting this behavior, the school or justice system can take appropriate action. Learn to say “Stop!” to prevent any kind of verbal or physical situation from escalating. Do not let a humiliating and harsh situation go on. But do not engage in a fight. Instead, call the security personnel. Report the incident to an authority figure so that the perpetrators can no longer act with such impunity.
